Be the first to receive King George V Sports Hub updates

The exciting plans for King George V Sports Hub are moving forwards with Chester FC Community Trust and Cheshire West & Chester Council continuing to work with key stakeholders to progress the scheme.

We are keen to ensure supporters and local residents are kept fully informed throughout and are the first to hear about important updates and opportunities to get involved with the project.

King George V Sports Hub will provide fantastic sports facilities for local grassroots clubs and leagues, community spaces available for groups and organisations as well as becoming the home of Chester FC Community Trust.

The scheme will transform the tired and underused King George V playing fields into a thriving hub for local sport that is both accessible and affordable.

King George V Sports Hub will feature:

  • A full size floodlit 3G artificial grass pitch.
  • Two full size grass sports pitches
  • A new Clubhouse with changing rooms and multi-functional community room with kitchen and bar
  • A refurbished Pavilion with chaging rooms, classroom and kitchen
  • Chester FC Community Trust offices
  • Enhanced access to the site and new car parking
