Grand Summer Raffle to Raise Funds for Sports Hub

A special Grand Summer Raffle will support the fundraising campaign for King George V Sports Hub in Chester.

Chester FC Community Trust wants to create a thriving hub for local sport which will provide fantastic facilities for grassroots teams, new community buildings and activities for people of all ages and abilities.

The £1.6 million project will increase participation in sport, improve health and wellbeing, and provide employment, education and training as well as placing Chester FC at the heart of the community.

The Grand Summer Raffle gives you the chance to win amazing prizes while helping raise funds for this exciting community project.

A cash prize of £1000 will be up for grabs along with unique experiences, signed sporting memorabilia and lots more.

Every penny raised will go directly towards King George V Sports Hub and all Blues fans and the wider community are encouraged to support this fundraiser.

The Grand Summer Raffle will launch in May with tickets costing £1 each or £5 for a book of five tickets.

Tickets will be on sale throughout the summer with the draw taking place on Tuesday 30th July during an open training session at the Swansway Chester Stadium.

Jim Green, chief executive of Chester FC Community Trust, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for people to get behind King George V Sports Hub and a really easy way of playing your part in helping us bring this outstanding facility to Chester.

“There are great prizes to be won including £1000 cash and all of the money raised will bring us closer to our target. The sports hub will have huge benefits for the community and be used by thousands of people so we’re asking everyone who is passionate about sport in the city to buy tickets and support the campaign.”

If you would like to volunteer to help sell tickets to family, friends and work colleagues, please email to request tickets.
